Jeff Traylor has transformed UTSA football since becoming head coach in December 2019, leading the program to unprecedented success. Under his leadership, UTSA has won two conference championships, secured five consecutive bowl berths, and achieved the most wins (46) and best winning percentage (.697) in school history. His “210 Triangle of Toughness” culture has created a powerhouse at the Alamodome, where the Roadrunners boast a 29-3 home record, ranking among the top home-field advantages in the nation.
Traylor has also developed numerous all-conference players, All-Americans, and NFL draft picks while fostering academic excellence, with UTSA earning national recognition for graduation rates and academic achievement. His coaching accolades include multiple Coach of the Year honors, and he is set to be inducted into both the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame and the Texas High School Coaches Association Hall of Honor in 2025. With a proven track record of success, Traylor continues to elevate UTSA as a rising force in college football.
